A Fancy Word For Trash

My Aunt Claire in Philadelphia will turn 102 this spring. Her boyfriend, Sam was an odd duck. He spent his free time shopping....or should I say browsing. He didn't like to buy much, but he felt guilty going into stores without buying at least SOMETHING. So he bought something cheap...like socks. After he died, my father cleaned out his house and found lots of unused socks. I started wearing them..and saving the original labels. The word "Ephemera" is a fancy word for trash. What better way to start this blog than fancy labels that were meant to be thrown away.
